The Black Friday Hunger Games
24 Shoppers, 1 Sale
May the Odds Be Ever in Your Favor

Every Black Friday since the dawn of mankind (I mean. . . 1924), dedicated shoppers and holiday super savers have stormed the gates of their favorite department stores looking to save a buck. Drawn in with the tantalizing sales, doorbuster deals, and price rollbacks, shoppers are at the ready. However, this year, things may be a little different.

Instead of storming the castle gates and flooding the department stores, most of the Black Friday deals will be offered online. Breaking the tradition of Black Friday can have some downsides and some benefits.

One of the biggest blunders to avoid this holiday season is going over budget. Before you start, review, and/or create a budget. This allows you to have a physical representation of what to spend and a reminder of what not to spend. Remember, check your budget before starting the frenzy. Between clicks and deals, you can always open up our mobile banking or check-in with the FFCU app.

If you are planning to head out for the in-store experience, some of the big stores are going to be open, like Target, Walmart, and Meijer in the Muskegon area.
Remember: Mask up, Social Distance, and Stay Safe!
