Spring is almost here, time to start preparing for Spring cleaning. When I Spring clean, I always end up with a car full of items to donate and an overfull trashcan.
54% of Americans are overwhelmed by the amount of clutter they have in their homes. Are you in the 54%?
I have spent countless hours on Pinterest, researching ways to tidy up my home and do away with the clutter. Below are a few tips that have helped me every year to give away the clutter that doesn’t bring me joy.
-If your child wants a new toy, have them pick 5-10 toys in their room to donate to charity.
-Have your bills sent to you via email instead of in the mail. Easier to keep them for your records and less of a chance of losing them.
-Ditch the cardboard boxes your snacks and dry food come in and store them in food storage containers.
-Go through all your family’s clothes. If you haven’t worn them in a year its time to donate or sell them.
-Look at the expiration dates on your makeup, you will be surprised how long you’ve kept your mascara.
